So I always say this time of year in Costa Rica is my favorite, and December 1st showed to be no disappointment. This morning started with a toucan sighting in my yard, followed by a few rosette spoonbills also flying by.
As I drove to work a ringed king fisher sat along the road, and two blue morphs flew by.
Pulling into Los SueƱos I noticed rustling in the trees behind the Terrazzas, so pulling over I find a family of monkeys swinging in the trees, heading into the nearby forest.
What a start to the dry season!
