Imagine stepping into the beautiful rainforest from the movie Avatar. Where a gentle mist sits upon deep green mountains, rising from the rainforest canopy and waterfalls cascade into the mysterious jungle.

While you may not be in the Avatar jungle, you will be nestled safely in the breathtaking Costa Rican rainforest. Adventure Dining, at the Pura Vida Garden is the only place in the pacific beach area where you will truly feel as if you have entered the untouched, natural rainforest.

As you walk through the gardens, you will see Macaws fly across the setting sun and all the beautiful wildlife and fauna that Costa Rica is known for.

However, the magical experience does not stop here.

You will dine in a beautiful restaurant area, overlooking the largest waterfall in the area, with a brilliant view of both the rainforest and the distant ocean waters.

The food is absolutely delicious, one of my favorite dining experiences since I moved to Costa Rica almost 2 years ago. The open bar is also amazing, with top shelf liquors, and mixers for drinks like rum and cokes and margaritas.

No photos or videos can even do justice to the actual experience of Adventure Dining, but owner Jack Ettinger captures each dining experience, and creates a memorable slide show for each guest.
